Taking to social media, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star said she is “proud” of both her daughters with husband Harry Hamlin, including Amelia Gray, 18, who previously opened up about her eating disorder and recovery.

“First of all I want to say how proud I am of both of our girls,” Rinna, 56, shared on her Instagram story. “I am in awe of how brave and courageous they are!”Following Delilah’s admission, Rinna explained that PANDAS, or Pediatric Autoimmune Nero psychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections, affected her daughter’s health.

“Roughly 10 percent of the pediatric population will develop PANDAS to some degree. In Delilah’s case the condition was extreme and caused serious anxiety and multiple phobias,” Rinna shared.

PANDAS can be diagnosed when “Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and/or tic disorders suddenly appear following a strep infection (such as strep throat or scarlet fever), ”according tothe National Institute of Mental Health, also noting that “the symptoms of OCD or tic symptoms suddenly become worse following a strep infection.”

In regards to the symptoms, the NIHM indicates that they are “usually dramatic, happen ‘overnight and out of the blue,’ and can include motor and/or vocal tics, obsessions, and/or compulsions,” additionally, “children may also become moody or irritable, experience anxiety attacks, or show concerns about separating from parents or loved ones.”
